Spring Scavenger Hunt

Spring is here! (Well, almost 🤭).

The sun is shining and the days are getting warmer (and longer!) My students FINALLY had outdoor recess this week for the first time in months.

And with all this sunshine comes ALL this extra energy! Can be great for learning; can also make focusing difficult.

If spring is in full bloom in your classroom, here are some fun activities to help keep your students learning and engaged for the next few weeks!

And keep scrolling to the end for a FREEBIE!

Math Activities & Learning Ideas

Measurement Garden: Practice counting, measuring and ordering size with this fun cut & paste activity and measurement cards. The flower erasers were from Target a few years ago but I am linking similar ones below!

Butterfly Jar Count & Clip: Students practice one-to-one correspondence, number recognition and fine motor skills in this center activity.

Bug Measurement: Use cubes or tiles to measure and count the size of each bug

Literacy Activities & Learning Ideas

Beginning Sound Rainbow Match: Match the picture to its beginning sound. Perfect center or intervention activity.

Rainbow Write: Great for spelling and sight word practice! Students love to use markers, colored pencils or special pens for instant engagement. Some of my favorites are below.

Truly the BEST teacher pen!
