☘️St. Patrick’s Day & Rainbows 🌈

Can you believe it is already the middle of March?! Well with that comes rainbows & St. Patrick’s Day! (Two of my favorites 🌈 ☘️ )

If you are in need of some fun learning for the day or week, keep scrolling for activities to keep your class busy!

🌈 Rainbow to 10

Students practice different ways to make 10 using a rainbow. You can also make an anchor chart to help students find the pairs. This is a great staple for your math wall and doubles as fun spring decor!

☘️ Lucky to Be Me Writing Activity

This is the perfect way to incorporate SEL into a St. Patrick’s Day theme! Pair this with a great read aloud such as Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are? or Lucky Tucker.

🌈 Rainbow & Pot of Gold Writing Prompts

Students can choose from 2 different writings prompts:

I feel luck because… OR If I found a pot of gold…

Makes a great bulletin board display too!

☘️ Shamrock Writing

Students write about their lucky charms, what makes them feel lucky and would they would do with a pot of gold!

🌈 Rainbow Base 10 Counting

If you are working on teen numbers or numbers to 100 this is the craft for you! Students work to build the number in pieces of gold. Then add it to their “pot” and color the rainbow. An option writing sheet is included to identify 10s and 1s.

☘️ ☘️ ☘️ Shamrock Pattern FREEBIE ☘️ ☘️ ☘️

St. Patrick’s isn’t complete without a shamrock! This pattern can be used for a simple color art project or as a template for writing.

Hope your week is filled with luck and rainbows! 🌈☘️🌈☘️🌈☘️

Happy Teaching!
