Earth Day has always been one of my favorite holidays! I love spending time with my students discussing all the ways that they can help our planet. It also always fits perfectly with our science topics this time of year.
Earth Day is coming soon! Check out some of my favorite books and activities to help enhance your Earth Day celebration in your class.

The Earth Book
This is the perfect way for students to start to think about Earth Day and simple things they can do to help.

Earth Day Chart
After reading, we make a chart of ideas from the book and also add in our own. This is a great thing for students to reference when they are completing other activities throughout the day.

Earth Day Mobile
This is a fun project that makes a great bulletin board display! It gives students practical ideas for things they can start doing right away.

Earth Day Writing
Another great bulletin board display geared towards upper elementary students.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Sort
After discussing what students can do themselves, this is a great interactive activity that gives them more ideas for each of the 3 Rs. This pack includes a pocket chart sort, pages for an interactive notebook and a singular cut & paste practice sheet.

Earth Day in Early Childhood Classrooms
Earth Day can be celebrated at any age! This pack includes many activities for an early childhood setting and geared towards children ages 3-5.
Here you will find the following activities: number build (numbers 1-10), roll and cover (numbers 1-6), Earth puzzle (numerical order), earth day writing page.
Earth Day Crown
The perfect way to start (or end) your Earth Day celebration: a crown!

Happy Teaching & Happy Earth Day! 🌎🤍🌳
