The school year is quickly coming to an end! How many days do you have left?
As I begin to prepare for the end of the year, I always like to send my students away for the summer with a small gift AND a reminder to keep reading!
Two of my go-to gifts are bubbles and a beach pail! They can usually be found at a dollar store or online in bulk for an inexpensive price.

🫧 Bubbles
Endless spring and summer fun for all ages- you can never have too may bubbles! My students always love the bright colors too.

Grab this gift tag, tie with some ribbon or string and you are all set!

🪣 Beach Bucket
Another great option is a beach bucket! It’s always great to start summer with a fresh new bucket and these come with a shovel too.

Grab with beach bucket gift tag to attach! Add your name to personalize them – print cut and you are ready to go.

📖 Summer Reading Activities
No matter the age, I always stress the important of continued reading over the summer! While many students may happily read on their own, others may need a bit more motivation. This Summer Reading Bingo and Summer Reading Log, help encourage students to read while still enjoying their hot, summer days!

☀️ Summer Countdown
No matter how many days you have left, a fun Summer Countdown is always a hit! I usually start with about a month left of school but even if you just countdown the last few days it’s a fun and simple way to help students prepare for the transition to not being at school each day. Where many students may have fun summer days ahead, for others the change isn’t always so easy. I find a countdown a great way to help all my students ease in to the new routine- but of course always do what is best for your students!

Whether you have just a few days left or still another month (like me 😮💨), I hope the end of the year brings many happy moments!
Happy (almost) Summer!
